Using 6-inch landscape staples to secure weed barrier fabric in a garden bed

Installation Tips

  1. Lay your landscape fabric or drip line in position.
  2. Place staples every 24–36 inches along seams and 12–18 inches around edges or high-traffic areas.
  3. Push or hammer staples until the crown rests snug on the fabric and the legs penetrate firm soil.
  4. For very compacted soil, pre-drill a shallow starter hole or use a rubber mallet.
