SAND

Sand is a versatile material used in landscaping, construction, and specialty applications. Mulch & Stuff supplies bulk and bagged sand products for residential, commercial, and municipal projects throughout Volusia and Flagler County.

SAND TYPES WE CARRY

White Fine Sand (Mason Sand)

White fine sand, commonly referred to as mason sand, is a clean, finely graded sand. It is most often used for filling joints between pavers, under above-ground pool liners, and in applications where a smooth, compactable surface is required. While often discussed online as a base material, mason sand is generally not recommended as a structural base beneath pavers.

Coarse Sand (Concrete Sand)

Coarse sand, also known as concrete sand, is a heavier, more angular sand used in concrete mixes and certain construction applications. It provides better drainage and stability than fine sand and is commonly selected for projects requiring added strength.

Red Sand

Red sand is commonly used in turf and soil amendment applications, particularly for St. Augustine grass. It is also used in select landscaping and fill applications and remains a popular material in this region.

COMMON APPLICATIONS

Sand is used for a wide range of purposes, including paver joint filling, concrete mixing, pool base preparation, turf and soil improvement, and general landscaping needs.
